Veg Pizza (With Readymade Pizza Base)
Serves: 4 Pizzas
Ingredients
For Pizza Sauce
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
- Garlic paste – ½ tsp
- Tomatoes – 6 (finely chopped)
- Salt – ¼ tsp
- Black pepper – ¼ tsp
- Tomato sauce (Kissan or any) – 2 tsp
For Topping
- Onion – 1 (cut into large cubes)
- Capsicum – 2 (cut into cubes)
- Mushrooms – 1 cup (sliced)
- Paneer – 1 cup (cut into cubes)
- Butter (Amul) – 2 tbsp
- Cheese (Amul, grated) – 1½ cup
Method
1. Prepare the Pizza Sauce
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan.
- Add finely chopped onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
- Add garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until the mixture becomes soft and dry.
- Add salt, black pepper, and tomato sauce. Mix well and cook until thick.
- Set aside to cool.
2. Prepare the Pizza Base
- Take readymade pizza bases and lightly apply butter on top.
- Spread 1–1½ tbsp prepared pizza sauce evenly over each base.
3. Add Toppings
- Spread onion, capsicum, mushrooms, and paneer evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle grated cheese generously on top.
- Add a few small dots of butter for extra flavor.
4. Bake
- Preheat the oven to 180–200°C
- Bake pizzas for 10–12 minutes or until cheese melts and edges turn slightly crisp.
5. Serve
- Sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes before serving.
- Cut into slices using a pizza cutter and serve hot.
