Cheesy Veg Garlic Butter Pizza
Serves: 2–3 people
Ingredients:
- Pizza base – 1
- Butter – 1½ tbsp
- Black pepper – 1 pinch
- Salt – to taste
- Garlic – 4–5 cloves (made into paste)
- Tomato sauce or pizza sauce – 1½ tbsp
- Mushroom – ¼ cup (finely chopped)
- Onion – ¼ cup (finely chopped)
- Capsicum – ¼ cup (finely chopped)
- Boiled sweet corn kernels – 1 tbsp
- Paneer (cottage cheese) – 2 pieces (cut into small cubes)
- Mozzarella cheese – 2 tbsp (grated)
- Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Mixed herbs or oregano – optional
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Mix butter, garlic paste, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the pizza base.
- Apply tomato sauce or pizza sauce evenly on top.
- Spread mushroom, onion, capsicum, boiled sweet corn kernels, and paneer cubes over the pizza base.
- Sprinkle a little salt, black pepper, and red chilli flakes.
- Spread grated mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes or until the cheese melts and the base becomes crisp.
- Remove from the oven and cut into slices before serving.
Serving:
- Serve hot with chilli flakes, oregano, or tomato ketchup.
- Best enjoyed fresh and cheesy.
- Suitable as a snack, lunch, or party dish.
- Can be served with garlic bread or cold beverages.
Tips:
- Preheating the oven helps in even baking.
- Fresh vegetables give better flavor and texture.
- Do not overload the pizza with toppings.
- Mozzarella cheese gives the best stretchy texture.
- Bake until the cheese turns slightly golden for better taste.
