Spicy Roasted Aloo Chaat

Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes – 10, cut into medium pieces
- Oil – as required for roasting
- Powdered sugar – 2½ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp (or to taste)
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tsp (lightly roasted or tempered)
- Chaat masala – 2 tsp
- Lemon juice – 3 tsp
For garnish (optional):
- Sev
- Pomegranate seeds
- Fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat a non-stick pan and add a little oil.
- Add boiled potato pieces and roast them on medium heat until light golden and crispy on all sides. Stir occasionally for even browning.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, and cumin seeds.
- Sprinkle the spice mix over the hot roasted potatoes and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Turn off the heat and add chaat masala. Mix well.
- Add lemon juice and toss gently again.
- Garnish with sev, pomegranate seeds, and fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
